Lancome Hypnose Volume-A-Porter Mascara Review!

It's a known fact that when it comes to high-end mascaras, Lancome always come up trumps. They just always seem to get it right, so when they released the newest addition to the Hypnose collection, the Volume-A-Porter mascara, I was incredibly excited to see how it performed.

Lancome promise that this mascara will give you seductive volume, striking length and intense black colour that will last all night. I can happily confirm that this mascara stays true to every claim made by Lancome.

The wand has short plastic bristles, that are quite soft and make it incredibly easy to coat your inner lashes without clumping them together. The bristles are also packed tightly together so your lashes won't clump or look spidery - an even coat of mascara applies effortlessly.

I absolutely love the formula of the Volume-A-Porter mascara - it holds a curl all day, and it doesn't leave the lashes feeling crispy or hard. Although this is not a waterproof formula, the longevity of the mascara is impeccable - it doesn't smudge or budge at all during the day.

As you can see from the before and after pictures, the mascara gives the most gorgeous lift to the lashes, making them voluminous and strikingly long.

Although it is incredibly long-wearing, I love that the mascara isn't difficult to remove - I've been using the Vichy Micellar Water to remove it and it comes off with one wipe.

I couldn't recommend this mascara enough - it's by far the best high-end mascara I've ever tried, and it'll be one I'll continue to repurchase.
